  given derek o'hares legal issues for his brave protests i have created an fb banner to show not only exjwsolidarity but also that we appreciate derek's protests.

  Diogenesister sounds like a good idea lets do it. I didnt realize how much fun this thread would be when I started it. Full disclosure, Local Needs was an actual JW-ish band a friend of mine started way back in high school. I always got a kick out of the name of that band.

  College and EX-JW Discontent....Questions and Stats

  *many* ex-jws say that they were robbed of an education due to the wtbts and as a result, they feel that their families and the wt screwed up their life by depriving them of the opportunity to go to college and therefore, earn a high salary at a job they love.

  here is a link to the us census which shows that approximately 26% of the us population graduates college.

  page 5, towards the bottom, shows the college graduation stats.

  Though extermely hard I finished College with a double major and was fading at the same time. I had to hide my books and keep secret my homework, while working and raising two kids! It was hard but possible.

  i was added fairly recently to the aawa network (thank you richard e. kelly ) and have been a lurker/fader for many years.

  the ex-jw community, from a far, has offered me so many ways to help go through my own thinking while awakening and working through my own crisis of conscience.

  however, i do have a critique of our community.

  mrmagic yes boles color method is alot more simple and i have had some say that it is more fun than the other tests that I mentioned. I agree the good life is not a destination but a journey!

  sohatnow,,,, The answer to the question of you who are you is not so much a destination but the experience of who you are as you go through life. Personality tests should not be viewed as a definitive answer but merely a signpost or indicator of who you are.
